about

This is my best approximation of a punk rock song. I did really try to make it a protest song, but I think we might need a new genre... polite punk. In any case, if your modus operandi is to cause division for profit, I'm opposed to your cause in the strongest possible terms.

lyrics

If we're all capable of
Beauty and horror
It's hardly unexpected
But where is your honour?
Doing my best to try
And understand you
But maybe the means of the many
Feed the greed of the few

I hope you
have to answer
For all the damage done
I hope you
have to answer
For what we have become
You've turned your back on love and kindness

So sick and tired of
All your nonsense
All of our differences
Of little consequence
Compared to what it is
That makes us all the same
Quit using all your influence
To stir up hate and blame

I hope you
have to answer
For all the damage done
I hope you
have to answer
For what we have become
You've given in to fear and blindness

Can't give in to fear that's what they want me to do
