1.
I find myself a space to reflect on the day: It has stolen the fight out of me All these thoughts at once Common sense, a fence, a pretend eloquence As I'm watching the light slowly flee Staring, staring Another night on the tracks I thought I would be stronger than this See the weeds in the cracks My blood runs cold I sought to find a way to reclaim my lost peace; A new face for an old enemy It doesn't work like that Bitterness a splinter insinuating into wounds Destined never to heal Losing, I'm losing How long? I thought I would be stronger than this I thought I would be stronger than this I thought I could be better than this But there're weeds in the cracks ---

Tracer 192 04:02
Went and dropped it all Didn't need much reason to escape; To track that better way Headed for the hills Rode the rails from end to end And now it's time to disappear That much is clear The mote that tipped the scales: Dawning comprehension of complicity; Can't be party to this any more How do you reconcile? How do you go back? While they've been screaming, you've been dreaming Sleeping like a baby in a cot They've been dreaming, you've been scheming Drain them dry and wring the final drop Within your sights there's higher heights Had it up to here with all the rot If the rising tide can't be defied And you're undermined and dissatisfied Easier to give it up, let the devil take us all Running far from here Is the only chance to make things right Hidden from the fight Winner takes it all Winner takes the best of us and slams it right into a wall So it's not your fault Cutting out and running loose, no further use, won't be a target to be found or to be run to ground How do you reconcile? What is there we could've done? There is no way back Hide behind your crooked smile There's no need to reconcile Let the devil take us all While they've been screaming you've been dreaming Sleeping like a baby in a cot While they've been dreaming you've been scheming Drain them dry and wring the final drop Within your sights there's higher heights Had it up to here with all the rot Why take a stand if they're underhand And there's a chance to turn your tail and flee? No resolution but no collusion Never be the one left on your knees If this rising tide can't be defied And you're undermined and dissatisfied Easier to give it up, let the devil take us all ---

Disquiet 04:13
This quiet This radio silence Is bringing me down The bite Of April snow driving Me back underground I've been Missing the bigger piece Of a puzzle that's too hard anyway I was Wishing to figure peace Out another way all on my own All on my own Disquiet ---
4.
I have been wearing this sleeve on my heart So no-one can see where I stop And where the bleeding edge Of everyone else begins at the end of me And all this time I've been alone Tell me when did this become Little more than an exercise in picking sides, well Now there's nowhere left to run; We have only ourselves to blame, it's a senseless shame I have been hunkered down in the warm embrace Of increasing isolation And I have been finding that it's not comforting me And it's not all it's made out to be All this time I've been alone I know so far we've been at sea But in all this mess there's got to be Some better spark for empathy A ceasefire for the enmity And after all is done and said Maybe the baggage could be shed We're sometimes pressed but never bowed Time is short but we live in hope And I am not afraid any more We can be bigger than the sum of you and me Time is short but we live in hope We can be stronger than the sum of you and me And I am not afraid any more ---
